VPLS deploys a wide range of VoIP technologies to suit the various any needs.
The UC500 system offers the total package with integrated data, voice, security and wireless solutions off a single unit. The UC500 is a merger of Cisco's renowned switching technology integrated into the Catalyst Express 500 and it's tried and proved IOS based communications platform Unified Communications Manager Express and Cisco Unity Express. The UC500 platform is capable of working with any Cisco IP Phone model ranging from the 500 series to 79XX. The integrated IOS firewall and VPN tunneling capabilities allow the router to be integrated with other similar routers in brand offices forming a mesh connected network over VPN.

Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Unlike the all in one solution that the UC500 provides, CUCME can be ran on any of Cisco's Integrated Services Router platforms ranging from the 1800 series to the higher end 3845 ISR depending on the number of users. All the features and services that are available in the UC500 are also available in CUCME but the system can be scaled up to 250 users.
