VPLS® Open-E iSCSI
Open-E Data Storage Server is an all-in-one IP-Storage OS offering NAS and iSCSI functionality in a single operation system combined with excellent price performance value, enhanced management and superior reliability to organizations of all sizes.
iSCSI storage system offers 100% redundancy through the use of multiple redundant storage shelves. iSCSI allows the host computer to reside in any one of datacenters and access the storage shelves at Gigabit Ethernet speeds. The drive is mounted as a low-level device instead of accessing a file sharing resource. VPLS also offers secure file storage and dedicated private VLAN's so bandwidth transfers are internal only and not counted against your monthly transfer.

Brocade FCoE Switches
Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) is a high-performance storage transport protocol that can speed data at up to 10 Gbps. Information is switched over redundant paths using our Brocade FCoE to the local switches and redundant storage arrays.
Fibre Channel frames are encapsulated - not translated or bridged - in an Ethernet frame. The mapping is 1:1, which means there is no segmenting of the FC frame nor are multiple FC frames put into a single Ethernet frame. It is a requirement that all FCoE devices support Jumbo Frames to allow the largest FC frame to be supported without segmentation.
Brocade FCoE switches and adapter cards combine FC and Ethernet traffic into a single card, thus saving server interface card and cabling costs, power costs and management effort. A Brocade FCoE switch can be used to converge an Ethernet switch and 8-port FC edge switch into a single unit, again saving costs.
Managed Storage Solutions (MSS)
Managed storage solutions are available for all our dedicated, virtual and collocated servers. All SAN storage packages come with a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet card and private VLAN setup. Additional storage space can added on the fly with the addition of another mounting point. Our storage shelves use RAID5 technology as well as cross shelf replication between other SAN storage shelves.
Network Attached Storage (NAS)
